Sweet and Emotional Winery Wedding 19.08.17
When she booked her consultation, I had no idea that Brittney was in fact "Madame Brittney" - my daughter's kindergarten teacher. Since that time, Brittney and Aaron and I became very well acquainted: spending a day hiking down to a waterfall together for their engagement shoot. Needless to say, I was very much looking forward to their wedding day.
The beautiful Magnetic Hill winery in the north end of Moncton, all decked out in greenery by the awesome guys over at Designer's Den, was the perfect setting for an outdoor ceremony. The rain, however, was not so perfect. But this sweet bride never lost hope, and stood firm in her resolve that she would be married outside, in front of the pond as originally planned. 3:45pm, and it is still pouring rain outside. 3:55pm - the rains have stopped, and all the guests run to grab a chair and bring it out to the pond. The groomsmen carry the birch arbor up and set it in place. 4:05pm and this positive bride is walking down her muddy - but not rainy - aisle to meet up with her best friend. Amazing!
I could go on and on about these two. The whole day was overflowing with tears of joy, and laughter, and tender moments. Surprise songs from friends, gifts from parents, and some muddy adventures. In the end, everything was perfect.
